Romantic Summer Wedding | Hidden Creek Farms | Nashville, TN

Wedding day for Sophie + Cooper. This outdoor wedding landed on a 97° and sunny day. I cannot help but smile though, because their love for one another and their joy in marrying each other easily outshone all the heat of the day. They and their families celebrated to the fullest this occasion and it was a joy to witness and photograph. One of the things I loved about preparing for their photos was partnering with Sophie’s vision. She’s an artist and communicated a deep love for black and whites and images that feel cinematic and images with motion blur and movement. We leaned heavily into this for their engagement photos and incorporated it into their wedding photos as well. Just a reminder how wedding is so unique to the couple – and those unique traits are going to be conveyed in the final images as well. I feel when I see these images, that they represent Sophie and Cooper and that is always my aim for every person in front of my lens.
